I want to find out how to make boat float for a long period of time.

Method :
Equipment
- 30cm square of tin foil
- Container fill with water
- Marbles for weight
Instructions :
- GATHER YOUR EQUIPMENT.
- Fold your tin foil into a boat by using a method. ( You can use the Instruction from the video to make it easier)
- Put the boat in the water and wait for it to float.
- Put marbles in the boat until it sinks like the titanic
- Track how many marbles did you put on the boat before it sunken
Results :
My boat withstand the weight of 58 rubber weights. The walls of my boat was too short and water started to flow inside of my boat
Discussion :
Boats float in the water because of the shape.
Density :Density means a object that is the same weight but it’s more compacted and crowded. Imagine there’s one room is big and one room is small. The small room would be more denser because it has less room.
Archimedes Principle : A liquid just like water that forces to an upwards force that keeps it not sinking which is called equilibrium which balances the forces out. The weight also helps to make the bottom of the ship contact the water.
